Aspen Healthcare acquires Turkish-based VLD Danismanlik

Dubai – Aspen Healthcare, a division of Aspen Pharmacare Holdings Limited, a global specialty and branded multinational pharmaceutical company with a presence in both emerging and developed markets, has acquired Turkish-based VLD Danismanlik. 

The agreement was concluded on 25 August 2020 following approval granted by the Turkish Merger Board and provides for VLD Danismanlik to be a subsidiary of Aspen Healthcare and part of Aspen Group.

The acquisition of VLD Danismanlik, Aspen’s partner for regulatory affairs and importation in Turkey, fits into Aspen Healthcare’s strategy to streamline the value chain to be more effective in supplying essential medicines to Turkey and to establish a platform for further expansion in the market.
